SandroDual

The SandroDual is a comprehensive laser that removes hair, and can also eliminate pigmented lesions, vascular lesions and rejuvenate the skin. It incorporates the 755nm long-pulsed Alexandrite and the 1064nm Nd:YAG lasers, all within one process that delivers an extensive variety of pulse times, greater repetition rates, and assorted spot sizes. The hybrid feature continuously sends out the two wavelengths (either 755nm-1064nm or 1064nm-755nm) in real time intervals, that offer the superior results patients desire for hair removal, vascular lesion treatments and more, for all different skin types.

A Cutting-edge hybrid system. SandroDual

There are two factors that determine the types of laser and settings that a patients treatment will require. The natural skin tone of an individual, whether it is very fair skin or darker skin with higher levels of melanin, and also the texture of the hair that grows on their body. Depending on if the hair is fine and light, or dark and coarse can have strong influences on which laser treatment will provide the most optimal results. This is where having two different wavelengths is advantageous because one of them is designed to be much safer for darker skin tones, whereas the laser used for light skin is more aggressive.

If requested by the patient, topical anesthetic cream can be used to help with discomfort during the treatment session. Eye covering is required and white tape can be applied around the hairline and eyebrows to protect the patient from experiencing burning during the treatment. If a lesion that is being removed is larger than average, it is important to partition it into sections via a skin marking instrument. It’s important to always ensure that the parameters and the SCS status are accurate before proceeding. Performing a test pulse on a small area of skin can ensure that the settings are accurate. Never repeat a test pulse in the same spot and the size of the treatment area will determine which spot size is to be used.

Features

The SandroDual includes two distinctive wavelengths and mediums. The hybrid method as well as 755nm and 1064nm options are used for heightened success in correcting multiple different skin issues. There is also an internal cooling feature that has an optional air cooling connector that can provide patients with more comfort during and after treatments by minimizing pain, swelling, and redness. The unique spot sizes include 2mm up to 20mm with detachable tips and automatic calibration. The two individual internal cooling systems work to provide extended durability and enhanced patient comfort.

Unique elements of SandroDual:

  • Concurrent use of 2 wavelengths while in hybrid mode
  • Adjustable pulse durations and frequencies
  • Distribution of the optimal flat-top beam profile
  • Real-time auto-sensing epidermal temperature gauge
